I was raised in Fountain Valley, California, and obtained my dental office management training at Concorde College. I joined the Newport Beach office in 2007 after many years experience in an excellent general practice dental office here in Orange County.
My husband and I are kept busy with three children we are very proud of – a freshman in college, a junior in college, and one in a graduate master’s degree program and recently married this past November. I’ve enjoyed many years volunteering at High School sporting events with them. Leisure time now includes walking my dog, dancing, reading and scrap booking, as well as vacation trips with my husband to Canada, New York, Cancun and other parts of Mexico.
I am here to assist you with your dental treatment, and I will be pleased to answer, or find the answer to, any of your questions.
Margaret Huffman, D.D.S., is our true native, being raised in Newport Beach. Dr. Huffman received her dental degree at the University of Nebraska in 1983 and has practiced at our office for nine years with an emphasis on periodontal treatment.
Dr. Huffman stays current with advances in dentistry while volunteering her time as an instructor at the USC School of Dentistry. She holds a commission in the United States Navy Reserve as a dental officer and is assigned to the 4th Dental Battalion in San Diego. She is blessed with a wonderful son in college. Enjoyment time is spent swimming, cooking and needle point.
Shannon Payne, RDH, was raised in Downey, California, and obtained her Dental Hygiene degree at Cerritos College in 1995. She has been practicing Dental Hygiene at our office since 2006.
Shannon keeps her Dental Hygiene techniques current with continuing education classes. She spends quality time at her church as a highly regarded teenage councilor. She also enjoys visits with her nieces and nephews, baking, and walking the beach.
Bridgid Herndon, R.D.H., is a Southern California native. She attended USC where she earned a B.S. in Dental Hygiene in 1982.
After graduation, Bridgid taught part-time in the USC Dental Hygiene Department. For over three decades she has been practicing in both Periodontal and General dental settings.
Bridgid enjoys building relationships and trust with her patients and is devoted to providing compassionate, gentle and thorough hygiene care.
Bridgid and her husband of 32 years have two grown daughters. For recreation she enjoys horseback riding, hiking and yoga.
Patty was born and raised in the Inland Empire. She attended the Dental program at North-West College in West Covina, graduating in 2000. Patty has 8 years experience in Endodontics and 12 years experience in Periodontics. She has a passion for Periodontics and educating patients about their Oral Health. Patty enjoys assisting Dr. Yang and feels very fortunate to work with such a great staff.
Patty lives in Chino Hills and enjoys quality family time on the weekends with her 2 nieces and 3 nephews along with her older brother and younger sister. She loves traveling to Las Vegas several times a year along with lots to do in San Diego.
Kristy was born in Paramount, CA, and raised in the Central Coast here in beautiful California. She graduated from Bryman College in 2002 for medical assisting and continued her education in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgical assisting. Kristy enjoys working with Dr. Yang, as she made the transition into periodontal surgery.
Kristy looks forward to spending time with her two wonderful daughters and many furry pets. She also donates her time working with special needs children.
